We will modify things if we find that you have some physical or movement limitations. No more “rabbit food” diets. We understand that sometimes you just need someone to show you how or tell you what to do, this is where we have you covered. No need to think, just do what's on your online, customized meal plan and the results will take care of themselves. You can eat the foods you like (within reason).
Dieting can be boring, we know it, so let us show you how we combat the dreaded 'rabbit' food broccoli brown rice and chicken breast diet (yuck!). We made sure to include a 37-PAGE recipe book that includes GREAT TASTING foods from: smoothies and protein shakes, sea food and soups, beef and chicken, plus so much more! After this you will discover that dieting does NOT have to be boring.

Our success manual will cover EVERYTHING from: blood sugars, hormones, macros, water, supplements, etc... In other words, we cover everything that could hinder or help your results. Your fee is $297 for the entire program (space is limited, this program fills up fast) and what's great about the challenge is if you are not satisfied for whatever reason you can request a full refund within the 28-days.
During the 28-days you are encouraged to workout 3 times a week at our studio, plus any additional workouts we give you, while tracking your eating and following your custom nutrition plans.
Individuals of any fitness level can participate in this challenge. Our trainers will modify YOUR program to YOUR specific needs, even if you have prior injuries. Some have specific dietary needs, some have 100 pounds to lose.
Yes, you certainly can. You don’t have to have a lot to lose to participate in this challenge. Some only have their last 10 or 20 pounds to lose and just want the extra accountability and family environment at The Edge Personal Training. Others just want to get into great shape.
We get it. Life happens and maybe it's more than just your work schedule changing weekly, this is no problem. Just be sure to let us know and we will sit down with our calendars and plug you in when its works for both of our schedules.
You will log into our members section to access your custom meal plan. If you see a food you don't like, click on it and a variety of other food choices pop-up allowing you to select the foods you like. You won't be starving on this plan. Eating foods you like will ensure you're able to stick to a sound nutrition plan...long term. Even if you're a picky eater, you'll find foods you'll look forward to eating!
Monday’s and Wednesday’s we focus on circuit style strength training. We use a variety of equipment for this including kettlebells, dumbbells, Olympic weights, Life Fitness Functional Trainer, and the TRX. Each station is timed using a variety of carefully selected protocols. It doesn't matter if you can lift 5 or 50 pounds because each person works at a level appropriate for their current fitness level. The result is increased strength and an elevated metabolism that melts away the calories.
Tuesday’s and Thursday’s we focus on circuit style cardio training. We use a variety of equipment for this including Thaipads, steps, our private outdoor training field (when the weather is nice), monster band, Surge, water filled kettlebells, jump rope, Bosu, TRX, Rip Trainer, medicine balls, cones, and gliders. These sessions burn a lot of calories, improve balance, strengthen your heart and turbo charge your overall fitness.
Saturday’s sessions are a hybrid between the resistance and cardio training. You get the best of both worlds in the Saturday sessions.
Every session ends with some carefully selected core exercises to strengthen and tone all the muscles in the lower back and abs. The exercises can alleviate back pain as well as prevent future back issues. Also in every session is a highly supportive group of no more than 10 that will encourage you along the way. Everyone at The Edge Personal Training has at least one common goal; increased health and fitness. It's this commonality that allows everyone to thrive off of each others motivation and drive.

Tim Mousel, the owner of The Edge Personal Training is a trainer to the trainers! He has traveled nationwide teaching at fitness conferences attended by personal trainers, physical therapists and athletic trainers in need of continuing education credits. The courses cover the latest cutting edge information in the fields of exercise science, biomechanics, and fitness training. Since 1993 he has been a Professor teaching personal training programs and Kinesiology at two of Houston's colleges. He's been actively involved in the fitness community since 1987. A countless number of his clients have achieved their weight loss, fitness and health goals. His extensive experience in the industry enables YOU to get results.
A Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical education and coaching (K-12), and a Master of Science degree in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy have given Tim the ability to train clients in a professional, effective manner.
In addition to many amateur and professional athletes, Tim was the Strength and Conditioning Coach for two-time world boxing champion Reggie Johnson. He is former chief Physical Training Instructor for the HCC Law Enforcement Academy and teaches Physical Education (Exercise Science, Theory of Exercise, Fitness Testing, Fitness Industry Operations, Advanced Weight Training & Conditioning, Personal Training) at Houston's local college. He's also an instructor for the American Red Cross in First Aid, CPR and AED. Tim is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (N.A.S.M.), American College of Sports Medicine (Certified Exercise Physiologist) and the American Council on Exercise (A.C.E.).
Tim has been training in the martial arts since 1980 and holds a handful of instructor certifications from many of the world's top martial artists.
